Suspended or lateral structures for tunnel safety
Prefabricated structures for tunnels and galleries also include suspended and lateral escape routes, vibrated reinforced concrete structures that ensure easy tunnel escape in an emergency. Prefabricated escape routes are made in various shapes, rectangular or trapezoidal depending on the needs, and are connected to the tunnel structure with tie rods or bolted plates.
In compliance with passive fire protection regulations, an area in which Crezza provides a specific consulting and supply service, escape route structures can be further coated and protected with materials capable of reducing temperatures in the event of a fire in the tunnel.
Reinforced concrete box elements
Concrete prefabrication compliant with anti-seismic regulations
Crezza also produces and installs prefabricated reinforced concrete box elements, which are widely used in underground road crossings, pedestrian crossings, water pipes, and sewer systems.
The prefabricated rectangular-section box-shaped structures are able to support first-class loads and are sized in compliance with Italian and European anti-seismic regulations, as well as offering the option of surface coverings of variable heights.
The main advantages of installing concrete box-shaped elements are speed of installation, which reduces open excavation times, and versatility.
