ET98 model anti-crash road safety barrier for use on the edge of a bridge, tested to containment class H2. Prefabricated and built in a single pour with concrete with resistance class C35/45 and exposure class XC4, XS2, XD3, XF1, XA1, with a “Trapeze” profile measuring 40×98 cm, L=600 cm (or L=300 cm), width at the head 18 cm, reinforced with a rigid cage in B450/C steel, with a concrete cover of no less than 20 mm; equipped at the top with a horizontal rolled C45 steel bar with a pitch of 10 and a diameter of 28 mm, and complete with connecting sleeves.
The end elements of the bridge edge barrier are anchored to the ground with posts embedded in concrete or driven into the ground (120x80x30x6 mm C-shaped steel, 0.60 m long with a 320x280x12 mm plate welded to the base, anchored to the kerb using 4 M20 chemical anchors and placed inside cavities provided in the intrados).
Brackets are mounted on the bridge curb, as per the design, anchored to the curb itself with two M 20 chemical vials and 8.8 M20 x 260 steel bars. The brackets will go into the cavity where the water passes through the barriers.
